Eyespot is a video editing company that worked with entertainment giants has already put its technology on the internet where anyone can use it.
The Encinitas-based startup declared its entry into the so-called “white-label” video sector, a self-serve type that greatly increase the company’s customer reach. Companies can upload digital video, edit it online and then post it to sites such as YouTube or their own sites.
Eyespot leases its software to businesses and also offers it free in trade for sharing advertising profits. Lucasfilm has selected Eyespot’s software to help “Star Wars” fans create videos based on the movies.
